About the company

A well-established architectural practice is looking to appoint a Senior Architectural Technologist to support the delivery of projects within its Healthcare, Education & Science (HES) sector team. This role offers the opportunity to work on technically complex schemes including healthcare facilities, educational buildings, science environments, and laboratory projects. The successful candidate will take a leading role in the production, coordination, and management of technical information across a variety of project stages, ensuring high standards of quality, compliance, and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, manage, and coordinate detailed technical drawing packages
  • Support the delivery of projects across a range of RIBA stages
  • Develop technical solutions in line with client and project requirements
  • Coordinate information with consultants, contractors, and wider project teams
  • Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and industry standards
  • Contribute to BIM workflows and project coordination processes
  • Attend design team meetings, site visits, and client presentations where required
  • Monitor project deadlines and assist with programme management
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members
  • Maintain high standards of technical accuracy and documentation

Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Architectural Technologist or relevant technical qualification
  • Strong experience working within a UK architectural practice
  • Excellent technical and detailing knowledge across a variety of project stages
  • Previous experience within healthcare, education, science, or laboratory sectors would be beneficial
  • Laboratory project experience highly desirable
  • Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction methodologies
  • Revit knowledge preferred, although not essential
  • Strong coordination and communication skills
  • Ability to manage workload effectively across multiple projects
  • Proactive, organised, and detail-oriented approach
  • Collaborative team player with a positive and adaptable attitude
