About the Role

We’re looking for a driven, commercially minded Regional Development Manager to accelerate growth across employer, higher‑education and training‑provider markets. This is a revenue‑generating, target‑owning role where you’ll blend strategic account management with proactive new business development.

You’ll manage a portfolio of employer and education partners while hunting for new opportunities, positioning qualifications, membership and training products as solutions that solve real workforce and skills challenges.

If you thrive in a consultative B2B environment and love turning conversations into commercial wins, this is a standout opportunity.

What You’ll Be Doing

Grow revenue, membership and learner numbers

  • Hit and exceed annual B2B sales targets
  • Build and convert a high‑quality pipeline across employers, universities and training providers
  • Use consultative selling to uncover needs and position our learning and membership solutions
  • Cross‑sell and upsell across existing accounts
  • Develop compelling proposals and business cases
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and activity tracking in CRM

Own and grow key accounts

  • Manage a portfolio of employer, HE and tuition‑provider partners
  • Increase uptake of qualifications and training across existing relationships
  • Position us as a long‑term strategic partner, not just a supplier
  • Protect and grow revenue through strong retention and renewal activity
  • Identify expansion opportunities across multi‑site and multinational organisations

Develop new markets and opportunities

  • Identify new sectors, employers and routes to market
  • Spot commercial opportunities within HE and professional training
  • Onboard new training providers and HE institutions, supporting them through accreditation
  • Feed market intelligence and competitor insights into commercial strategy

Shape future products

  • Share customer insights to influence new product development, pricing and positioning

What Success Looks Like

  • Growth in employer‑based members and learners
  • Increased numbers studying via accredited universities
  • New employer and HE partnerships secured
  • Strong pipeline value, accuracy and conversion

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong track record of hitting revenue targets
  • Confident managing a pipeline and CRM
  • Skilled at engaging senior stakeholders and decision‑makers
  • Commercially sharp, results‑focused and opportunity‑driven
  • Excellent influencing, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Experience selling learning, training, education or professional services
  • Understanding of HE, accreditation or professional qualifications
  • Line management or sales coaching experience
