A leading global advisory firm is seeking a high-caliber Managing Director to lead and grow its Strategic and Government Communications offering across the region. This is a senior leadership role suited to a commercially driven, hands‑on operator with the gravitas to advise CEOs, ministers, and senior policymakers.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping complex narratives, advising on high‑stakes situations, and driving business growth across key markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and expand strategic and government communications mandates across the region
  • Act as a trusted advisor to C‑suite executives, ministers, and senior government stakeholders
  • Provide counsel on reputation management, public affairs, policy communications, and crisis situations
  • Drive new business development, contributing directly to revenue growth and market expansion
  • Build, mentor, and lead high‑performing teams across multiple markets
  • Develop integrated communication strategies aligned with political, regulatory, and economic landscapes

Candidate Profile

  • Senior communications leader with extensive experience in strategic communications and/or government advisory
  • Proven track record operating across the Middle East or comparable international markets
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders (CEO, Board, Ministerial level)
  • Strong commercial acumen with a hunter mindset—driven, ambitious, and growth‑oriented
