Clinical Negligence Senior Solicitor – Up to £85,000 + Bonus + Full Benefits
A rare opportunity has arisen to join a highly respected Legal 500 firm with a national reputation for excellence in Clinical Negligence and Healthcare Litigation. As part of its ongoing expansion, the firm is seeking an experienced Senior Solicitor to join its well-established Clinical Negligence team in Liverpool. You’ll work closely with senior colleagues and partners on a varied and high-quality caseload of complex, defendant Clinical Negligence matters. The team defends claims on behalf of leading healthcare providers, insurers, and medical defence organisations, often involving high-value and sensitive litigation. The role also offers prospects for supervisory responsibility and further development of technical and leadership skills.
The Candidate
- Qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years post-qualification experience
- Strong background in defendant Clinical Negligence work
- Experience handling complex claims, ideally involving NHS Resolution and MDO clients
- Confident managing a caseload independently while also supporting junior team members
- Excellent legal and procedural knowledge, with strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Commercially aware and solutions-focused
- Effective communicator with strong client care and stakeholder management skills
- A collaborative team player with mentoring or supervision experience preferred
