Assistant Night Manager – De Vere Tortworth Court

De Vere Tortworth Court in Wotton Under Edge is recruiting for an Assistant Night Manager to join the team. This role is pivotal in overseeing nightly hotel operations, ensuring the safety and comfort of guests, and maintaining high standards of service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nightly hotel operations and ensure smooth running from 10:30 pm to 7 am, 5 nights a week.
• Complete the night audit and manage financial reconciliation.
• Check guests in and out of the hotel as required.
• Conduct nightly walkarounds to ensure security and safety.
• Deal with any issues or complaints occurring overnight.
• Work overnight with at least one other night team member, supporting events that run into the early morning.

Qualifications

• Experience working during night hours and a lifestyle that suits it.
• Hospitality experience or experience in a guest‑focused service role.
• Enjoy engaging with people and delivering high standards of service.
• Feel confident working at night in a large hotel with another colleague and taking responsibility for guests’ health and safety.
