THE OPPORTUNITY We are partnering with a respected Tier 1 employee-owned contractor seeking a Senior Project Manager – Healthcare to lead the successful delivery of major new build hospital projects valued at $200M. Reporting into Healthcare Division leadership, you will oversee end-to-end project delivery across highly complex healthcare environments. This position is based in Toronto with project travel across Ontario and potentially other provinces. This is not simply site management. This is full lifecycle leadership — from planning and procurement through commissioning and handover. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Lead major new build hospital projects from inception to completion Drive project planning, scheduling and delivery strategy Manage multidisciplinary teams across design and construction Coordinate with architects, engineers and healthcare authorities Oversee budgets, procurement and cost control Manage risk, claims and change orders Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and building regulations Lead stakeholder engagement and executive reporting Champion safety, quality and operational excellence Mentor and develop project teams and future leaders Travel to project sites to ensure successful delivery and oversight ️ PROJECT ENVIRONMENT Major New Build Hospitals Healthcare Facilities ️ Complex Clinical Infrastructure Projects Valued At $200M WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR ✔️ 10 years project management experience within construction ✔️ Minimum 5 years focused on healthcare / hospital construction ✔️ Proven success delivering large-scale projects valued at $100M ✔️ Strong healthcare construction knowledge and technical capability ✔️ Experience managing complex multidisciplinary teams ✔️ Executive-level stakeholder engagement capability ✔️ Strong commercial, contractual and leadership skills ⭐ PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s Degree – Engineering / Construction Management / Related Field PMP or Equivalent Certification Primavera / Procore / Project Controls Experience BIM Knowledge & Healthcare Compliance Understanding French Language Capability Considered An Asset ⭐ WHY THIS ROLE STANDS OUT Major Healthcare Portfolio Leadership Responsibility Long-Term Project Pipeline Employee-Owned Contractor Career Growth & Development Meaningful Infrastructure Delivery Relocation Support For You and Your Immediate Family The demand is not for juniors.
