Skilled Labourer Job Newton Abbot (UK Travel Required)
We are currently recruiting for a Skilled Labourer with a valid CSCS card to join a well-established company based in Newton Abbot. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term career prospects for the right candidate.
This role involves the installation and removal of a specialist construction hoarding system across a variety of sites, including retail and government buildings. If you enjoy hands-on work, travelling across the UK, and working on different projects, this could be the ideal role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and dismantling of construction hoarding systems (internal and external)
- Working on construction sites, retail units, and government buildings
- Ensuring all work complies with health & safety regulations
- Travelling to project locations across the UK (approx. 95% outside Devon)
- Working flexible hours, including nights and weekends when required
Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card (essential)
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Clean Criminal Record (required for government site clearance)
- Willingness to travel nationwide and stay overnight
- Flexible and reliable with a strong work ethic
- Physically fit and active this is a labour-intensive role involving manual handling and on-site work
