Were looking for hands-on, reliable candidates to join our client in Stonehouse asCable Assemblers. This role involves building a range of cable products using hand tools and machinery, working from written instructions and customer drawings. Its a clean, organised environment with supportive teams and long-term opportunities.
Contract:12-week Temp to Perm
Hours:
- MondayThursday: 07:3016:15
- Friday: 07:3012:15 (early finish)
- Breaks: 15-minute lunch + two 10-minute paid breaks
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble cables, looms, and harnesses to customer specifications
- Carry out hand and machine crimping
- Follow written instructions and drawings accurately
- Perform basic inspection and quality checks
- Maintain a tidy and safe work area
- Work efficiently to meet daily production targets
Skills & Experience
- Previous cable or wiring assembly experience is beneficial
- Soldering skills are a strong advantage
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to follow written instructions and technical drawings
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
