About the Post

As a highly committed and motivated individual you will proactively engage families with children aged 0-25 years into the Family Centre offer through the new Family Hub network.

You will be part of a wider Family Hub team, actively targeting and engaging families with children aged 0-19 (including 25 SEND) and marginalised groups.

You will facilitate registration and engagement of families in Family Hubs, supporting people to access the services and interventions they need to build resilience and confidence, while working alongside wider services to ensure families receive the right support at the right time.

You will deliver universal and targeted Family Hubs and Start for Life activities to enable families to meet their full potential.

The role includes working from Family Hubs across the borough and planning and delivering a range of activities.

What You’ll Need

  • Level 3 qualification or substantial experience in a relevant field.
  • Evidence of experience working with children, young people and their families.
  • Strong communication skills, a flexible approach and the ability to build relationships.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and ability to adhere to safeguarding policy.
  • Knowledge of services provided by Family Hubs within the scope of Early Intervention and Prevention.
