Commercial Claims Team Leader – Liability

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Supporting the performance of the team, setting goals to drive delivery of our business objectives, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement and adherence to Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) guidelines and UK&I Claims Policy.
  • Resolving technical and operational queries from team members and complaints as escalated by the team
  • Providing handling support to the team during times of surge or service pressure
  • Driving high levels of effective customer and broker engagement throughout the claim handling process
  • Collaborating with the Commercial and Complex Technical Claims and the Commercial Claims Process and Improvement Lead in the setting and updating of SOP’s for Commercial Operations
  • Collaborating with the Commercial Claims Training Lead in the identification and delivery of training needs within the team
  • Supporting and participating in customer and broker engagement meetings, supporting the customer and broker advocacy ambition of UK&I

Your skills and experience:

  • Proven experience of good and effective leadership skills at Team Leader level.
  • Good influencing skills and ability to manage stakeholders.
  • Good organisational skills and a thorough knowledge of Intact’s systems and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively across teams and with relevant external parties.
  • Experience of developing, coaching, and building high performance teams and improving overall effectiveness.
  • Ability to coach, mentor, motivate and upskill colleagues in their teams
  • Commercially astute with demonstrable experience of taking accountability for delivery
