About the Role
You’ll be at the heart of the operation leading shifts, supporting your team, and helping deliver a consistently great customer experience in a busy airport environment. This is a visible leadership role, where you’ll:
- Lead from the front during service
- Take ownership of shifts and team performance
- Build confidence managing people, pace, and pressure
- Play a key part in maintaining high standards every day
You won’t just follow processes; you’ll help shape how the team works and improves.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading shifts and supporting day-to-day operations
- Coaching and motivating your team in real time
- Creating a positive, energetic team environment
- Making sure service runs smoothly during busy periods
- Supporting with rotas and staffing decisions
- Maintaining high standards across food safety, hygiene and H&S
- Spotting opportunities to improve service and team performance

- A passion for hospitality and great service
- Confidence leading people or wanting to grow into it
- A hands‑on, “lead by example” mindset
- The ability to stay calm and positive under pressureA genuine interest in developing yourself and others

Shift Pattern (Important to Know)
This role includes early morning starts, so reliable transport to Exeter Airport is essential.
- Hours worked between 12am-6am are paid at time and a half (£20.13 per hour)
