Procurement Specialist – Fabrication & Engineering

Weldone is seeking a Procurement Officer to support our production and operations team. This role involves managing the sourcing and supply of materials required for fabrication and engineering projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring materials are available on time, cost‑effective, and aligned with project requirements.

• Source materials, components, and services required for projects
• Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers
• Request and compare quotations to ensure best value
• Place and track orders to meet production schedules
• Coordinate deliveries with the workshop and site teams
• Monitor stock levels and reorder where required
• Ensure materials meet required specifications and quality standards
• Support production planning with accurate procurement timelines

Requirements

• Experience in procurement, purchasing, or a similar role
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities
• Confident working with suppliers and negotiating where required
• Experience in engineering, fabrication, or construction industries is beneficial
