Senior Credit Risk Analyst
We now have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to assess and evaluate the performance of Credit Risk systems and strategies, coaching and mentoring Analysts, identifying and maximising opportunities to improve strategy performance, and contributing to the delivery of FS goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and develop the Credit Risk strategies and systems, making recommendations to maximise their commercial performance
- Provide effective coaching and mentoring of Analysts, building capabilities to maximise Credit Risk systems and strategies
- Implement and adhere to all governance, risk and compliance standards, ensuring strategies deliver the best outcomes for customers and the business
- Identify, build and maintain key internal and external stakeholder relationships to deliver the agreed commercial performance

Qualifications
- Experience of working within the retail, financial services sector
- Extensive experience of credit risk strategy development
- Advanced knowledge in writing and reviewing SQL code to perform data analysis
- Extensive experience of working and delivering in a regulated environment
- Excellent working knowledge of financial standards and guidelines – e.g. FCA, TCF, Data Protection
- Experience coaching and developing the performance of others
- Delivery and customer focussed
- Ability to plan and prioritise effectively to meet changing priorities and demands
- Excellent communication and engagement skills
- Proven track record in effective facilitation and communication at multiple levels
- Commercially astute
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at an appropriate level
- Analytical, pragmatic and systematic in approach to problem solving
- Ability to manage conflict and know when to escalade
- IT literate
