Site-Based Electrical Engineer – Coventry (Temp)

We are currently looking for a qualified Electrical Engineer to join the team of a well‑established company based in the Coventry area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer to work within a busy and fast‑paced environment on a temporary basis, with the potential for ongoing work.

Role Details

• Position: Electrical Engineer
• Location: Coventry
• Hours: Monday to Friday / 40 hours per week
• Type: Temporary role (4+ weeks)
• Working Pattern: Site based
• Pay Rate: £25 per hour – paid weekly via umbrella

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned rewiring on the site and installations
• Ensuring all electrical work is completed safely and in line with current regulations
• Conducting inspections and routine maintenance checks
• Working alongside internal teams and contractors to ensure operational efficiency
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
• Previous experience in a commercial, industrial, or facilities maintenance environment
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
