Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Pay: Up to £58,193 DOE + OT (earnings of £63,000 and upwards achievable)
Shift: Panama Shift (Days Only – 12 hrs): 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off (6.00am to 6.00pm and 11.00am to 11.00pm – rotation discussed at interview)
Overtime: x1.5 Mon‑Sat and x2 on Sundays
Holidays: 22 shifts
Overview
We now require a Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering team. Working for a manufacturing business that has sites across the globe you will be working in a multi‑skilled role. Both electrical and mechanical engineers are considered, however electrical skills will be required for the role.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain, service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production downtime.
- Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns.
Qualifications and experience
- Time served, apprentice trained or above.
- Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar.
- Basic electrical understanding for changing like‑for‑like parts and fault finding; electrical certifications are not essential as training can be provided.
- Experience working with hydraulic‑focused machinery is beneficial.

Commutable from: Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach, Winsford, Alsager, Kidsgrove and surrounding areas.
