Buildings Foreman

About the role

We are recruiting an experienced Site Foreman to join the Substation Apollo project in Bridgwater – a key leadership role on a major infrastructure development that will support the region’s power network.

What you’ll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate day‑to‑day site activities
• Lead site operatives and subcontractors to deliver works efficiently
• Ensure works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and programme
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and quality control
• Conduct site briefings and toolbox talks
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders
• Monitor progress and report on site performance.

Who we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a Site Foreman within construction/build projects
• Strong background in concrete, groundwork, and structural build elements
• Experience working on infrastructure or substation projects (desirable)
• Valid CSCS card (Gold or Black preferred)
• SMSTS or SSSTS qualification
• First Aid at Work (preferred)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
