Job Description
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes efficiently.
- Provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Monitor cash flow and provide forecasts to assist in planning.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve financial processes.
- Supervise and support the finance team during the interim period.
- Assist with ad-hoc financial projects as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Financial Controller should have:
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Proven experience within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively.
