Hydraulic TechnicianPay: £42K– £47K per annumHrs: Mon-Thu: 7:30am-4pm, Fri: 7:30am-2pmDriver Hire Aberdeen are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Hydraulic Technician to join their Assets & Operations team in Aberdeen.The successful candidate will play a key role in the build, maintenance, testing, commissioning and operational readiness of hydraulic and mechanical systems across specialist offshore and onshore equipment. The role is primarily workshop-based and focused on hydraulic power units (HPUs), pipework, hose assemblies, valves, cylinders and associated hydraulic systems.Key Responsibilities Build and install hydraulic systems including HPUs, manifolds, pipework and hose assembliesCarry out hydraulic maintenance, inspection and refurbishment workPerform flushing, pressure testing, commissioning and FAT/SIT activitiesDiagnose hydraulic faults including leaks, pressure loss and system inefficienciesRead and interpret hydraulic schematics and engineering drawingsSupport mobilisation, demobilisation and equipment readiness activitiesComplete testing records, checklists and workshop documentation accuratelyWork safely and effectively within HSEQ standards at all times Requirements Modern Apprenticeship (or equivalent) in EngineeringHydraulic Training Level 2 (BFPA or equivalent)Proven hydraulic systems experience including HPUs, pipework and hose assembliesAbility to read hydraulic schematics and engineering drawingsStrong hands-on approach and fault-finding capabilityExperience with flushing, pressure testing and commissioning preferred Package £42K– £47K per annum, DOE – OT paid @ x1.538 hr wk – Mon – Thu: 7:30am – 4pm, Frid: 7:30am – 2pmAberdeen basedTemp to perm opportunity Apply today with updated CV and any required credentials.INDAB2…
