The post holder will work as part of a designated clinical team and carry out specific clinical tasks and responsibilities under the supervision of a state registered practitioner, within the screening and symptomatic breast services. In addition, a range of support duties will be undertaken including assisting radiologists, clinicians and radiographers during diagnostic breast investigations. The post holder will be a member of the multi‑disciplinary breast team and will undertake duties at OBIC and on the mobile breast screening units located at various sites across Oxfordshire.

Main duties of the job
- Work within the Scope of Practice for Mammography Associates/Assistant Practitioners in Breast Imaging and undertake screening and symptomatic mammograms in static and mobile clinics.
- Assist in interventional procedures (core biopsies, vacuum‑assisted core biopsies and localisations) as required, including preparation of procedure trolley and support of patient undergoing procedure.
- Assist in ultrasound (US) when needed.
- Complete QA testing on a daily, weekly and monthly basis at the static and mobile units.
- Process and prepare images and paperwork for clinical reporting.
