Responsibilities

  • Drive sales & maximise profit – responsible for identifying opportunities to increase store contribution and ensuring a high standard store layout and report analysis.
  • Conduct daily floor walks & delegate effectively, stay informed on competitor activity and communicate trade feedback.
  • Connect with customers – provide a world‑class experience, motivate the team, and encourage upselling across all areas.
  • Recruit & retain talent – build, train and coach the team, manage performance, and drive succession within the branch.
  • Control costs & manage loss prevention – oversee payroll, ensure the right staffing levels, deter theft, and maintain operational soundness with effective stock controls.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven track record managing store KPIs including sales, payroll, controllable costs, stock loss and service.
  • Excellent communication across all levels.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Passion for delivering a world‑class customer experience.
  • Previous experience at Store Manager level or senior Deputy Manager seeking the next step up.
