We have an excellent opportunity for you – Senior SOAR Engineer!
The Role
Senior SOAR Engineer will play a critical role within the Cyber Security domain of a leading investment bank. You will be the primary point of contact for SOAR engineering activities, owning the design, configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the SOAR platform and its supporting infrastructure. Your responsibilities include building and maintaining architectural artefacts, providing deep technical expertise across the SOAR estate, and ensuring the platform operates in line with enterprise security, resilience, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert for Security Engineering within the SOAR domain.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on SOAR platform configuration, enhancement, and maintenance.
- Analyze, document, and maintain SOAR architecture, including the creation and upkeep of High‑Level Design (HLD) and Low‑Level Design (LLD) artefacts.
- Design, implement, and maintain integrations between the SOAR platform and other security tools.
- Develop and execute standard operating procedures covering platform administration, content and playbook management, change management, version and patch management, and lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with security operations, engineering, and DevOps teams to ensure stability, scalability, and continuous improvement of the SOAR environment.
Essential Skills & Knowledge
- Strong experience deploying, maintaining and supporting SOAR technology (Chronicle SOAR).
- Experience with GCP or Azure Cloud Management.
- Understanding of security frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF.
- Experience working within the Banking and Financial Services industry.
- Relevant cloud certifications, particularly in GCP.
- Linux Administration hands‑on experience is a plus.
- Experience with DevOps tools, Terraform preferred.
- Exposure to ML/AI and data tooling within GCP environments.
- Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery models.
