HSEQ Manager (ISO & Compliance Management)
Based Belfast (Hybrid – some regional travel)
£45k – £50k base, plus benefits package
Job Overview
Delighted to partner with this leading M&E business who due to continued growth are looking to recruit an experienced ISO, IMS and Compliance Manager. A family run business who have an accommodating and supportive leadership team, with definite room for development and ability to make the HSEQ department your own.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and continually improve the organisation’s Integrated Management System.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with certification standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
- Lead internal audits and coordinate external certification/recertification audits.
- Monitor compliance with statutory, regulatory, and industry specific requirements.
- Maintain a compliance register and ensure corrective actions are tracked and closed.
- Manage risk assessments and support departments in implementing controls.
- Analyse performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Support departments in creating and reviewing SOPs and process documents.
- Monitor HSE performance metrics and action plans.
- Ensure incident reporting, investigation, and corrective action processes are followed.
- Deliver training on IMS and compliance requirements.
- Ensure employees understand responsibilities linked to policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience managing or maintaining an IMS or quality management system, along with IMS/QMS software experience.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards.
- Strong Auditing skills (preferably Lead Auditor certification – ISO 9001/14001/45001).
- Experience in compliance, risk management, or governance roles.
