About the Organisation
Public Services Delivery Scotland (PSD Scotland) unites expertise from NES and NSS to support NHS delivery. The organisation supports staff with education, training, tools and data, and runs national functions such as procurement, logistics and blood, tissue and cell services.
The Post
NHSScotland Assure provides a range of clinical, infection prevention, construction, engineering, environmental and facilities services. The directorate delivers specialist services including commissioning, screening, outbreak response, and compliance reviews.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of a management and control mechanism for creation, approval and delivery of change projects.
- Manage project plans, risks, and resources, including third‑party contributions and NHS resources.
- Deliver outcomes to appropriate quality levels, on time and within budget.
- Provide internal consultancy and quality improvement services.
Qualifications
- Degree level education.
- Relevant Project Management qualification.
- Demonstrable experience of project management across the full project lifecycle.
- Experience of line and work management and ability to lead, manage and motivate teams.
- Experience of working with and reporting to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Strong planning and organisational skills and ability to prioritise and work independently.
- Good knowledge of project management methodologies and techniques.
Location and Working Pattern
- Location: Gyle Square, Edinburgh or Delta House, Glasgow.
- Hybrid working, Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week.
- Must live and remain a UK resident with entitlement to work in the UK.
