Job Description
Senior Door Engineer role within an established engineering facilities management company. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including a company vehicle, pension scheme, annual bonus, and paid leave.
Responsibilities
- Report to the Doors & Security Manager and manage the maintenance, service, and repair of automatic swing and sliding entrances and industrial doors within a local postcode area.
- Coordinate with other technicians when issues arise and assist with arranging interviews for potential new staff.
- Operate a range of equipment from automatic doors to industrial roller shutters.
- Manage your own work in progress, complete all relevant paperwork accurately, and communicate any area issues to the line manager.
- Attend regular training courses and management meetings to support the team and company growth.
Essential Requirements
- EN16005, IPAF, PASMA certification
- Previous practical experience working with swing, sliding entrance systems and industrial door systems
- Confidence in product knowledge and ability to provide advice quickly
- Experience in electrical, welding or hydraulics
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage time effectively
- Problem‑solving skills
Salary and Benefits
- Attractive starting salary package of £55,500 (basic) with OTE circa £65,000 in the first year
