Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a prestigious and forward‑thinking firm of chartered accountants in Newton Abbot who are looking to add an Accounts & Audit Senior to their team.

As an Accounts & Audit Senior, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing year‑end accounts and corporation tax returns for your clients as well as leading audit assignments on businesses from a wide array of sectors from the initial planning stage through to completion.

You will be client facing and will be responsible for the supervision of junior staff, assisting in their development as they progress.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Leading audit assignments from planning to completion
  • Preparing statutory and management accounts
  • Completing corporation tax computations
  • Providing points for Director review, highlighting relevant client or technical issues

Skills

  • ACA / ACCA Qualified (Part Qualified will be considered)
  • Experience of leading audit assignments
  • Practice experience is essential
