Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location: KidderminsterSalary: £52,149 per annum + overtime (earnings up to £60,000+)Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off Days & Nights (6am 6pm / 6pm 6am)

The Role:
- Carry out mechanical maintenance on heavy plant and production equipment
- Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to breakdowns
- Diagnose faults across hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
- Perform bearing fitting and alignment
- Maintain high safety and quality standards in a safety‑critical environment
- Contribute to continuous improvement and downtime reduction
- Work collaboratively within a shift‑based engineering team
This is a varied, hands‑on position where you ll utilise and develop skills in: Fitting, fabrication, welding, and plant servicing.
About You:
- Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Experience in heavy industry or manufacturing environments
- Strong fault‑finding skills across hydraulics, pneumatics & drive systems
- Experience with bearing fitting & alignment
- Arc & MIG welding and basic fabrication skills
- Knowledge of cutting and grinding safety regulations
