Production Manager

Salary: GBP45000 – GBP55000 per annum

TeamJobs are recruiting for a Production Manager to join a fast-growing, high-volume operation. Step into a high-impact managerial role where you will take ownership of performance, lead large teams, and make a real difference on the shop floor. This opportunity is particularly suited to candidates from automotive, vehicle processing, recycling/waste, heavy industry or other high-throughput production environments.

Hours: Monday to Friday. Rotational Shifts: 6.00 – 15.00 & 15.00 – 00.00. 42.5 hour per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire multi-disciplinary teams across yard, production, parts and warehouse
• Take ownership of shift performance and operational decision-making
• Drive output, productivity and labour efficiency in real time
• Manage operational flow and remove bottlenecks across multiple areas
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lean practices
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards while optimising productivity
• Deliver results across output, efficiency, safety and profitability

Requirements

• Proven experience managing large teams in a busy production or manufacturing environment
• Track record of delivering output in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
• A data-driven leader with strong commercial awareness
• Demonstrated success in improving performance and reducing waste

Desired Experience

• Automotive manufacturing or vehicle processing
• Recycling / waste management
• FMCG or high-speed production
• Logistics or distribution at scale
