HPC Software Engineer

HMx Labs is hiring a Junior Engineer focused on high‑performance computing (HPC) for our financial services clients. The role is based in London and is hybrid; no fixed office days.

You will work directly with senior engineers and be exposed to clients and projects across our Skunkworks initiatives.

Requirements

• Right to live and work in the UK indefinitely.
• At least one year of paid, full‑time software engineering experience.
• Commercial experience with at least one of the following languages: Java, C#, Python (object‑oriented), or C++.
• Commercial experience with at least one unmanaged‑memory language.
• Some exposure to HPC is desirable.
• Some experience in financial services technology is desirable.
• Must have experience in at least one of HPC or financial services technology.

Compensation is up to GBP 60,000 per year for the right candidate.
