The role
We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative with an ambition to develop their
sales career and skillset in a high-growth environment with clear progression opportunities.
You’ll sit at the start of the outbound sales process, identifying, and engaging risk,
compliance and governance professionals through cold calling, email, LinkedIn, events etc.
Your role will be to create interest in the RiskSmart solution, nurture relationships, uncover
pain points, qualify opportunities and book high-quality demos for the Account Executive
you’ll be working closely with.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in SaaS, business development,
recruitment, or other outbound-focused sales roles who is looking to build a career in
software sales and make the most of uncapped commission.
What you’ll be doing
- Researching target accounts and contacts within our ideal customer profile
- Outreach through phone, email, LinkedIn and events
- Speaking with risk and compliance professionals to understand their challenges
- Identifying customer pain points and identifying product fit
- Hosting discovery calls to understand prospects’ context and requirements
- Qualifying opportunities and booking demo meetings for Account Executives
- Nurturing early-stage opportunities before handover
- Keeping CRM records accurate and up to date
What we’re looking for
You’ll ideally have experience in a B2B or commercially focused role and be comfortable
working towards targets.
Experience in SaaS is a bonus, however those from roles with transferable skills e.g. lead
generation are encouraged to apply (such as business development, telesales, recruitment
etc.)
You’ll bring:
