Locum GP in Whitehaven: Ongoing Shifts & Home Visits

Background

An excellent opportunity has become available for a Locum GP to support a well-established GP practice in Whitehaven across a selection of dates throughout July and August. The practice is looking for as much continuity with the same GP as possible. It offers a well‑structured working environment with strong day‑to‑day support and a collaborative multidisciplinary team. For the dates listed, shared admin, duty and home visit support will be needed.

Required Dates

• 8th, 9th, 10th July
• 15th, 16th, 17th July
• 18th, 19th August
• 26th, 27th August

Location

Whitehaven, Cumbria

Pay

£700 – £850 per day

The Surgery

• Well‑established GP surgery
• EMIS Web practice
• Supportive multidisciplinary team
• Mix of face‑to‑face and telephone appointments
• 5‑minute appointments throughout
• Organised and structured clinical sessions

Your Role

• Required dates: 8th, 9th, 10th July / 15th, 16th, 17th July / 18th, 19th, 26th, 27th August
• 8:30am – 6:30pm
• 28 patient contacts per day
• Shared admin required
• Home visits required
• Duty GP responsibilities required
• You must be a qualified General Practitioner and be registered with the GMC and UK Performer’s List
