Mechanical Project Manager

We are currently seeking a high-calibre Mechanical Project Manager to join a premier Tier 1 M&E Contractor. This is a strategic appointment for an individual capable of spearheading large-scale mechanical packages across London’s most prestigious developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assume end-to-end accountability for mechanical delivery, from pre-construction and procurement to final commissioning and handover.
• Collaborate with the commercial team to manage budgets, variations, and monthly valuations, ensuring project profitability.
• Oversight of technical submittals, RFI processes, and ensuring all installations meet rigorous quality and safety standards.
• Act as the primary interface for the Main Contractor, consultants, and end-clients to ensure seamless project integration.
• Lead and mentor a site-based team of Project Engineers and Construction Managers.

Candidate Requirements

• A demonstrable track record as a Project Manager with a major M&E sub-contractor.
• Experience delivering mechanical packages valued at £15M+ is essential.
• HNC/HND or Degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent trade experience).
• Strong commercial acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to drive programs in high-pressure environments.
