Chartered Tax Advisor – East Bristol
Clark Wood is working with a highly regarded independent firm in East Bristol that is seeking an experienced Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA qualified) to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and forward-thinking practice. As a Chartered Tax Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients, including individuals, SMEs, and owner‑managed businesses.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of personal and/or corporate tax clients
- Providing tailored tax planning and advisory services
- Reviewing tax returns and ensuring compliance with current legislation
- Supporting partners on complex tax projects
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Assisting with the development of junior staff where appropriate
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a CTA qualification (or be close to completion)
- Have strong experience in personal, corporate, or mixed tax
- Demonstrate excellent technical knowledge and attention to detail
- Possess strong communication and client‑facing skills
- Be proactive, organised, and commercially aware
