Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Deputy Course Manager at Hainault Golf Club, located in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Deputy Course Manager will oversee daily golf course operations, assist in the maintenance and presentation of the courses, and ensure a high standard of care in turf and greenkeeping. Responsibilities include team leadership, scheduling maintenance tasks, equipment management, and coordinating with other staff to preserve the quality of the golf courses. The role will also involve compliance with health and safety regulations and fostering a positive environment for members and visitors.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of turf maintenance
- Experience in team leadership and supervising staff members
- Proficiency in the operation and maintenance of greenkeeping equipment
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and environmental practices
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Minimum level 2 but ideally level 3
- Prior experience in a supervisory role within a golf course environment (beneficial)
