They are looking for an experienced engineer who can balance hands-on engineering with technical strategy as the business moves through its next phase of growth. This role suits someone who enjoys operating in a small but growing team, is motivated by building solutions, solving complex problems, and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves to deliver. The environment is fast-paced, where priorities can evolve quickly and ambiguity is often part of the journey. The successful candidate will be excited by the autonomy of an early-stage environment and the opportunity to shape the technical direction of a high-potential B2B SaaS platform. Longer term, the role offers the chance to build, manage, and lead a growing engineering team. The position requires someone who can balance product innovation with longer-term technical stability and scalability Typescript | Azure | Python | LLM | Terraform Key Technical Experience Strong experience in most of the following areas:

  • Azure (or deep experience with AWS / GCP and willingness to work with Azure)
  • System architecture and scalable system design
  • Event-driven architecture
  • Full-stack development using:
    • Next.js
    • Nest.js
    • Python
    • PostgreSQL
    • Terraform
  • LLM-powered product workflows
  • AI-assisted / LLM-enabled software development practices
  • Docker and containerisation
  • Web application security
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Observability and APM
  • Clean architecture principles
  • Integration with third-party systems and APIs

Responsibilities The role will involve a mix of hands-on engineering, technical leadership, and strategic input. xkybehq You should be comfortable with:

  • Requirements analysis and solution design
  • Contributing to product roadmap planning and delivery management
  • Delivering solutions for complex technical workflows
  • Data migration planning and execution
  • Designing and deploying complex product features
  • Working directly with customers to troubleshoot issues and gather feedback
  • Contributing to UI and UX thinking alongside product stakeholders
  • Presenting technical concepts to internal teams and customers
  • Participating in key stakeholder discussions and strategic planning

The role is primarily remote, with occasional travel across the UK for customer meetings, events, and team collaboration (all expensed)….
