Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair generators in the yard
• Carry out fault finding; mechanical and electrical repairs
• Prepare and test generators prior to dispatch
• Load bank testing and routine servicing
• Work on engines across major brands
• Support rebuilds; overhauls and upgrades

Based full‑time at the Wirral facility; working within a close‑knit workshop team preparing and maintaining generator equipment; hands‑on, fast‑paced environment supporting field operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Generator experience or similar engine background
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault finding
• Relevant electrical or mechanical qualifications
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable

• Experience with generator control systems
• Workshop or yard‑based experience
• Forklift or yard handling experience
