Senior Clinical Fellow – Emergency Medicine
Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust seeks a Senior Clinical Fellow to develop a special interest while delivering care in the Emergency Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care and manage cases presenting to the ED.
- Refer patients to other specialties as appropriate.
- Spend one day per week dedicated to a special interest.
- Participate in specialty and cross‑specialty multi‑disciplinary teams and meetings.
- Carry out relevant administrative duties.
- Teach and supervise junior medical staff and other clinicians.
- Engage in audit, clinical governance, and service improvement activities.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Full GMC registration with licence to practise.
- Medical degree from a recognised medical school.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Pre‑registration/foundation training and at least 3 years experience in Emergency Medicine, with a minimum of 6 months of experience.
- Demonstrated analytical problem‑solving skills.
- Suitable for the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 – Disclosure & Barring Service check required.
