Trade Mark Attorney (NQ–2 PQE) | Starting at £50,000+ | Permanent | Hybrid – 3 Days in Office
We’re working with a highly regarded City law firm looking to expand its dynamic Trade Marks team with the addition of a Newly Qualified to 2 PQE Trade Mark Attorney.
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Central London, offering hybrid working (3 days in-office, 2 days from home) and a starting salary from £50,000.
About the Role:
Due to sustained growth, the firm is creating a brand-new position within its thriving Trade Marks practice. The team handles a broad range of matters — from portfolio management and brand strategy to enforcement and dispute resolution — across sectors such as consumer goods, technology, life sciences, fashion, and more.
You’ll work directly with senior fee earners and partners, gaining exposure to high-quality, hands-on work across contentious and non-contentious trade mark matters.
- Advising on brand strategy and IP protection
- Handling UK and international filings, oppositions, and disputes
- Drafting agreements and enforcement actions
- Liaising with foreign associates and overseeing global portfolios
- Supporting business development and marketing initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
- UK-qualified Trade Mark Attorney (NQ–2 PQE)
- Strong academic background and IP knowledge
- Experience managing trade mark matters across jurisdictions
- Clear communication skills and attention to detail
- Proactive, client-focused, and collaborative mindset
