About the Division
The Outer North West Division Podiatry Service in CLCH is dedicated to change and innovation. We are seeking a new Clinical Specialist Lead Podiatrist, a clinical leader who is driven and motivated to doing things differently, breaking down traditional divisions within the profession. Our goal is to develop and establish new care pathways that make targeted use of clinical sciences to create clear, patient‑centred, evidence‑based packages of care for all appropriate referrals to the podiatry service.

Role Overview
The Clinical Specialist Lead Podiatrist will provide patient‑centred quality care through practising at a high level of professional and personal autonomy.
Responsibilities
- Use specialist knowledge and skills of clinical assessment, examination, diagnosis, and treatment within an agreed scope of practice within the podiatry service.
- Act as the advanced diagnostic and decision maker of the podiatry service, supporting a way of working that emphasises a more efficient and patient‑focused service and ensuring the safe referral, treatment, and discharge of patients with potentially undifferentiated and undiagnosed presentations across a service area.
- Work collaboratively with all members of the multidisciplinary team to provide best clinical care, emotional and psychological support and education to patients, service users and their families.
