Overview

Join the RAC as a Mobile Vehicle Technician in our SMR Division – a new era of mobile repair.

Earnings

• Competitive base salary of £40,170, with on-target earnings of up to £52,000
• Guaranteed overtime option to increase base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities
• Opt‑in guaranteed overtime after first month: £30 per hour; one extra day a month could earn £3,000 per year; two extra days could add £5,000

Work Hours

• Full‑time 40 hours per week, 8:00 – 17:00 core hours, with one Saturday per month on 1 in 4 Saturdays

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a vehicle technician working on light vehicles
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
