An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electronics Engineering Team Lead to work within the growing Calibration & Maintenance department.

Salary

Circa £50,000 depending on experience

Dynamic (hybrid) working

5 days per week on-site due to workload classification

The opportunity

This opportunity is for an Electronics Engineering Team Lead to join the Calibration & Maintenance department at Stevenage, which is part of the Manufacturing functional organisation. The Calibration & Maintenance Engineering Team Lead will be responsible for leading a growing team of engineers and technicians, calibrating and repairing commercial off the shelf (COTS) test and measurement equipment within our laboratories. This includes manual and automated calibrations using Fluke METCAL software.

Knowledge of calibration requirements, calibration controls & equipment capabilities is critical, as well as working closely with other stakeholders within and outside the calibration department.

What we’re looking for from you

  • Minimum HNC/HND qualification or equivalent in a relevant electronics engineering subject.
  • Proven people manager experience.
  • Sound technical knowledge of test and measurement equipment, both theory and practical.
  • A strong understanding of calibration principles.
  • Demonstrated experience leading audits and managing compliance to relevant standards.
  • Experience working with external stakeholders and managing workload.
  • A working knowledge of SAP and JIRA would be an advantage
