Clinical Lead, Care Home – Lead Wellbeing & Staff

Job Overview

We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic Clinical Lead to join our award‑winning team at Rowan Court Care Home in Newcastle‑under‑Lyme. The Clinical Lead will support the Home Manager across all aspects of Home Management, providing a safe, caring, stimulating and homely environment for residents and their visitors.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the state of wellbeing of each resident and be aware of any changes impacting care and care plans.
• Act as the focal point for contact with residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing.
• Prepare the staff duty rota to ensure appropriate staffing levels and appraise staff.
• Advise on the supply and quality of items used in tasks, ensuring timely and appropriate ordering of replacement goods.

About you

• Hold a current NMC registration.
• Have an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• Have at least two years of experience working in a similar care environment.
• Be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; computer skills are an advantage.
• Have a positive attitude to developing staff and enhancing care for residents.

Required Checks & Eligibility

• DBS Disclosure check (cost met by Avery Healthcare).
• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
