Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Salesperson/Business Development Specialist, based in London. The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for promoting Thermit/Goldschmidt line of products and services, identifying new business opportunities, conducting market research, and generating leads. Other day‑to‑day responsibilities include taking ownership and delivering the agreed sales budget and forecast, increasing company sales and profitability. Initiating and continuing relationships with customers via calls and face‑to‑face meetings. Assist in other ad‑hoc duties for the need of the business when possible.
Qualifications
- A degree qualification or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years’ work experience in sales.
- Strong commercial acumen and a consultative and honest approach to securing sales of technical products and services.
Skillset
- Ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office.
- A full driving licence is essential.
- Background in the Railway industry is desirable but not essential.
