£23.59 LTD / £19.54 PAYE per hour

We are currently recruiting for a Neighbourhood Officer to join a busy housing team managing around 19,000 homes across Coventry and surrounding areas. This is a varied frontline housing role focused on tenancy and estate management, supporting customers within a designated patch and working closely with internal teams and external agencies to resolve complex housing issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing tenancy and neighbourhood issues across an allocated patch
• Handling Anti-Social Behaviour cases from low-level complaints to serious multi-agency cases
• Managing safeguarding concerns and sensitive customer situations
• Carrying out estate and block inspections
• Conducting tenancy reviews and supporting new build tenancy management
• Reviewing service charges and depreciation matters
• Building strong working relationships with partner agencies and stakeholders

Requirements

• Previous experience within social housing, tenancy management or a similar customer-facing environment
• Experience managing ASB and safeguarding cases
• Strong communication and interviewing skills, including dealing with sensitive situations
• Excellent IT skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy patch
• Flexible approach to work and occasional out of hours meetings
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
