Parts Supervisor

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Parts Supervisor to join our client’s award-winning motor factor business located in Shepton Mallet. • 42.5‑hour week, Monday to Friday, with two shift options (8:00 am‑5:00 pm or 8:30 am‑5:30 pm) plus a half‑hour lunch break

Duties

• Processing customer parts orders via telephone and in person, upselling to increase sales
• Unpacking and checking deliveries, ensuring stock accuracy
• Supervising the parts centre in the absence of the Centre Manager
• Conducting outbound calls to promote products and increase business opportunities
• Building long‑term relationships with local customers to foster loyalty
• Managing credits and returns efficiently by accurately fulfilling customer requirements
• Working efficiently within set deadlines, demonstrating organisation and punctuality
• Engaging proactively and enthusiastically with customers, demonstrating empathy and professionalism

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Parts Supervisor or similar role within the automotive industry
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills with excellent communication both face‑to‑face and over the phone
• IT literacy and familiarity with automotive parts softwareProfessional and customer‑focused attitude
• Supervisory or managerial experience is desirable but not essential
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment, demonstrating initiative and positivity
