We are looking for an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our dynamic team, supporting delivery of our ambitious transformation portfolio. This role is central to progressing significant organisational change, introducing new systems and ways of working, and underpinning our five-year strategy
You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and achieve their intended benefits, while supporting high-quality governance and assurance processes across the Trust.
Main duties of the job
Working closely with Senior Responsible Owners and Programme Managers, you will lead and manage projects from initiation through to delivery and benefits realisation.
You will:
- Manage projects aligned to the Trust’s Transformation Strategy, ensuring effective governance and reporting
- Develop and maintain plans, monitor progress, risks and issues, and escalate where required
- Produce high-quality reports for senior forums including Executive Transformation Programme Board
- Lead stakeholder engagement and communication across a wide range of audiences
- Support continuous improvement of PMO standards, tools and methodologies
- Line manage and support project team members as required

Person Specification
Competency based interview
- Educated to degree level and/or able to demonstrate the equivalent level of knowledge and experience.
- Experience of Project Management or change leadership role.
- Possess a professional project management qualification or have knowledge of a formal project management method such as PRINCE2, Agile.
- Experience of change management, service improvement or practice improvement with demonstrated commitment to continuous quality improvement.
- Good knowledge and understanding of the structure, processes and functions operating within the NHS, and the impact of legislation and national initiatives.
