Security Officer (12-Month FTC) – Calm Patrols & Service

We’re Hiring: Security Officer (12 Months FTC)

Location: Trowbridge, UK

Pay: £13.39 per hour

Hours: Shift pattern: 60 hrs Monday to Friday 06:00-18:00

A great opportunity has opened for a professional Security Officer to join our team at a corporate working studio in Trowbridge. This is a night‑shift position supporting a calm, professional environment with a strong focus on safety, customer service, and vigilance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prevent unauthorised access, respond to alarms and CCTV activity.
• Carry out regular patrols, maintain high standards of customer service.
• Control access, manage keys and equipment responsibly.
• Record all incidents accurately and complete investigations and written reports.
• Support Health & Safety by promoting safe practices and providing First Aid if trained.
• Carry out stop and search procedures when required.
• Complete daily tasks, accurate handovers and support additional duties or events as needed.
• Work independently and remain alert throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision) – Essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
• Clean criminal record and five‑year checkable employment history.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• First Aid qualification.
• Previous security experience preferred.
• Punctual, reliable, and flexible with shifts (days/nights/weekends).
