Senior Cost Consultant | Construction

Operating both in the UK and across the world, they are a leading contractor delivering projects across multiple sectors including; real estate, defence, education, highways, rail and water. As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for transforming tender information into a comprehensive and competitive financial submission. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will help position the business to win work while maintaining rigorous financial standards. Prepare all financial aspects of the tendering process, from initial identification through to handover and post-submission support. Produce the required financial documentation for senior leadership review, including Chief Estimator, Operations Director and Managing Director. Maintain and update accurate benchmarking data from completed and secured bids. Liaise with internal building services teams to integrate MEP and FS costing into tender submissions. Work with Procurement to select suitable subcontractors, identify opportunities for value improvement, and ensure competitive pricing. Act as an advocate for digital tendering practices, including electronic submissions and BIM integration. Proven experience estimating for large-scale building projects including Commercial and MOD in excess of £80m.
