Head of Maths: The Role

A forward:thinking secondary school in Canterbury is seeking to appoint an ambitious and experienced Head of Maths to lead their successful department from September 2026.

Responsibilities

• Drive standards across the department
• Lead curriculum development
• Ensure high:quality teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience
• Motivate students and staff

Qualifications

• Experienced teacher of Maths with proven ability to inspire students and raise attainment
• Excellent subject knowledge
• Proven track record of raising attainment
• Ability to motivate both students and staff

Compensation

Rate: A GBP 35,000:A GBP 60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
