Overview

As a Pharmacy Manager at Tesco, you will be responsible for delivering high quality pharmaceutical services to customers while supporting and developing the pharmacy team. Your work will impact the health and wellbeing of hundreds of people every day.

Responsibilities

  • Supply prescriptions, deliver NHS and private services, and provide healthcare advice to customers.
  • Play an active role in the charitable support program, giving advice to people in the community at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
  • Lead, train, and develop pharmacy colleagues.
  • Use a planning system to ensure pharmacy staff are available so customers’ needs are always met.

Qualifications

  • Hold a Pharmacy Degree.
  • Be passionate about leading and empowering a team.
  • Be a member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and be willing to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme – Tesco will assist with this.
  • Complete a DBS check (organised by Tesco) before employment.
