Overview
Decoded is looking for a Funding & Compliance Administrator to support the monthly ILR submissions process and general funding and compliance within the business.
Accountabilities
As Funding & Compliance Administrator at Decoded, you’re ultimately responsible for:
Working with the Admissions, Delivery, Client Management, Finance and Product teams to provide dedicated compliance support for our apprenticeship offering, as a member of the Quality & Compliance Team.
Supporting the team to maintain an accurate ILR.
Staying up to date with the Department for Education’s (DfE) apprenticeship funding rules and guidance, and relevant apprenticeship news.
Responding appropriately to business demands and requirements, such as DfE Funding Assurance (audit) visits.
Specific roles and responsibilities
Compliance
Confidence in reading and applying the DfE’s Apprenticeship Funding Rules, including associated technical guidance and updates.
Maintaining accurate learner records through audit activities in accordance with funding requirements to ensure 100% accuracy; this will include ILR, reviews and attendance data.
Supporting timely and accurate draw down of funding + accurate data entries onto government systems and internal learning platforms.
Supporting audit activities and taking all necessary steps to resolve any identified issues, such as ILR validation errors or DLOCKs.
Documenting company processes and supporting the implementation of changes and improvements.
Cross-team collaboration and support
Monitoring apprenticeship delivery activity to ensure compliance with apprenticeship funding rules.
Liaising with delivery teams regarding aspects of compliance.
Answering compliance queries from other teams.
Supporting the implementation of the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
Responding and resolving potential breaches of rules/regulations, policies and procedures by regular monitoring and evaluation across teams.
Reporting
Providing performance and data reports to assist with data analysis and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
Creating and maintaining reports on compliance for various functions of the business.

Team & Reporting Structure
This role will report into the Senior Compliance Manager
Who are you?
You are:
Passionate about the education and technology sectors
A self-motivated person who is excited to work in a small team and a fast-paced environment
Flexible in your approach with a positive, can-do attitude to compliance
You have:
Proven previous involvement in and experience of apprenticeship compliance
A detailed understanding of the UK’s Further Education sector, including apprenticeships
Experience in the administration of training delivery and assessment
Experience of dealing with the DfE (or its predecessor, the Education and Skills Funding Agency) and other relevant education regulators
Experience of apprenticeship delivery platforms, ideally including Bud
Experience in, or a good understanding of, the technology sector
Excellent attention to detail
Strong background in administration
Excellent analytical skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Project management and organisational skills
Proven ability and confidence in taking the initiative
Working knowledge and experience in word processing, database software and spreadsheets
Day-to-day
Our working hours are from 9am-5pm Monday- Friday. We are currently working a blend of remote and office working. Remote and flexible working has always been part of our culture and will continue to be encouraged. You will be in control and responsible for your time. Salary: £30,000-£34,000 per annum
